Troy Smith over David Carr

Well this season has quickly turned into a disaster and Singletary and many others (including Alex Smith) will be washed out after the season but I want to say I totally support starting Troy Smith over David Carr. I would always rather roll the dice with an unknown quantity (even one I think will stink such as Smith) than a known stiff. Carr looked awful in the preseason playing against #2 defenses: he's flat bad, I was upset when they signed him in the first place. When has he ever looked good?
